The Farro Facility Engagement

Chaosyysss called for an impromptu Savy NEAL raid on the Farro Center in Pyro for the purpose of securing specimen cards to summon the Apex Vallakar worm currently being studied by the ASD.
Operators Chaosyysss & Exospec spearheaded the engagement, initiating the raid during their off-duty time. They first attempted a nighttime ground assault on the Farro Data Center. Which turned into a catastrophe as they had to take cover near cargo containers due to a lack of visuals on defending forces.
They were unable to effectively neutralize nor identify ASD security forces as they both lacked night vision equipment. Thus, they were overwhelmed and neutralized. Their regen protocols being activated upon their deaths.

Chaosyysss, lead on this off-the-books operation, made the call to recruit a Savy NEAL Asgard for the purposes of neutralizing multiple defense turrets prior to gaining access to the facility. Exospec & Chaosyysss manned the Asgard. Once the turrets were disabled, the two operators continued to strafe the grounds of the facility from the air, to neutralize the rest of the visible ASD security forces on the perimeter.
Once on the grounds of the facility, the two operators penetrated the structure to continue to neutralize the remainder of the on-site security. The two operators report that they split the facility in two, and one cleared out each side, before meeting back at the card printing facility.

Savy NEAL Chief VizFact was enjoying a casual Sunday in The Verse, when NEALs comms lit up with activity indicating that two Savy NEAL Special Space Warfare Operators might be in distress in the lawless Pyro system.
At the time, despite having a fabulous and leisurely Sunday, Chief VizFact was having a dispute with Hockrow Agency about an unsatisfied data recovery contract.
VizFact quickly ended the dispute with the Hockrow representative. Then, requested sitreps from the operators on the ground in Pyro.
The situation was grim. They were being overwhelmed by highly trained ASD security forces. (Most of these guys don’t even bother with armor.) However, Savy NEAL operators were alive and fighting back. VizFact immediately scrambled a Medical Cutlass with two ground vehicles, activated the combat alert system, and proceeded to Pyro Gateway Stanton.
During the warp to Pyro Gateway Stanton, VizFact couldn’t divorce himself from the thought that the new operator, Chaosyysss, was trying to get us all killed.

Special Space Warfare Operator A1dqn reported in for duty. It was maintenance day.
As the operator checked in as duty-ready via his Mobiglass, he saw the combat alert notification and signed on to the Savy NEAL comms system.
Upon being briefed on the matter, he immediately wrapped up scheduled Polaris maintenance, stored a Anvil F7C-M Super Hornet Mk II in the hangar of the Polaris, and immediately proceeded to Pyro Gateway Stanton to assist SSW Operators Chaosyysss and Exospec in the Pyro star system.

VizFact made it to the planet and landed on the perimeter of the Farro facility in glorious fashion, joined by A1dqn shortly thereafter. By the time VizFact arrived, Exospec & Chaosyysss had penetrated the facility, neutralized the defending guards, and begun the process of obtaining the specimen card.
VizFact successfully neutralized newly arriving ASD security forces, penetrated the facility, and arrived in the card printing office within the Farro center mid-way through the process of obtaining the specimen card and finalized the process. A1dqn, also, seconds-to-minutes behind VizFact, also arrived in the card processing room.
A firefight ensued with ASD security. We continued to neutralize guards, obtained the specimen card, and then, an unknown strike team arrived on the scene by air. At which time, Chaosyysss was outside of the card-printing room neutralizing ASD security.
[The unknowns were there for the same reason we were, to obtain a specimen card.]
Chaosyysss, eager to reform the squad requested access to the specimen card room.
While in the card processing room, VizFact moved to disable the security door, so that Chaosyysss could regain access to the card room and join Exospec, VizFact & A1dqn.
When VizFact open the door, an unknown assailant equipped in full Hurston Elite Guard (Artimex) gear was on the other side. VizFact had the target lined up for a headshot, but, his weapon jammed. The unknown operative neutralized VizFact, only to be killed & terminated in return by the remaining Savy NEAL Special Space Warfare Operators in the room, A1dqn & Exospec.
A1dqn, then, let Chaosyysss into the card printing room. Exospec recovered the cards from Viz’s body and Chaosyysss from the other dead unknowns.
Then the bombing started.
Chaosyysss told Exospec to give him the additional data card he recovered. Then, Chaosyysss forced his regen protocol into activation and woke up at Gaslight Station. The data cards were secured.
Exospec went to the rooftop to conduct surveillance. He was concerned about the destruction taking place on the perimeter and the safety of our ships. Upon, reaching the rooftop of the Farro Data Center facility, Exospec then discovered an enemy vessel. He then reports an account of a bombing raid occurring on the perimeter and ranging in coverage to about 1km from the facility ending at a nearby mountainside.
Exospec’s regen protocol was involuntarily triggered as a result of an ambush by two of the unknown special operatives.

Chaosyysss, waking up a bit drowsy from his forced regen protocol activation, immediately stored the data packs, and prepared his Origin M80 for combat.

THE INCEPTION
A1dqn proceeded to defend the room against countless unknown Special Forces agents that insisted on penetrating the facility, killing us, and taking the valuable data cards we obtained. They failed.
A1dqn activated his helmet cam, and re-connected with VizFact following Viz’s regen activation and captured footage of, what we’re calling, “The Inception.”
A1dqn performed as a sentinel of human rage in defense of the valuable cards the invaders thought he possessed. They made numerous futile attempts to neutralize A1dqn, and penetrated the card printing room only to meet their deaths.
After A1dqn neutralized the offending invaders, and before Chaosyysss returned in the battle-ready M80, the invading forces were finished bombing the perimeter.

Exospec’s regen protocol was triggered by one or more of the unknowns. He was back on his feet at Gaslight Station and ready to rejoin the action.
He was intent on coming back for blood.

Farro Data Center Airspace
Chaosyysss, piloting his armed M80, was back on the scene of the Farro Data Center patrolling the area. He found it peculiar that no enemy ships were visible upon his arrival.
During his patrol, he was shocked to see a bolt fly past his windshield. This was ordinance from a handheld railgun. Enemy operatives where on the roof of the Farro Data Center.
He was being targeted.
STANTON
Brentwood Medical, New Babbage, Microtech
VizFact’s regen protocol was triggered. The medical staff at Brentwood welcomed him back to New Babbage and questioned why he was in such a rush. He needed to get back to Pyro to assist in resisting & killing the disrespectful trespassers that got involved in Savy NEAL affairs out in Pyro.

Farro Data Center (Perimeter)
Following the railgun shot, Chaosyysss reports a Hornet engaged him. He was badly damaged by fire from a Hornet, and a railgun. He then proceeded to tactfully eject from the M80 in such a way that spared him from involuntary regen protocol activation, and left him alive.
During his ejection, the pilot reports that the vessel exploded, and some of the flying shrapnel hit him with enough force to lodge him beneath A1dqn’s Polaris. He then proceed to take cover underneath A1dqn’s Polaris to defend himself from the offending Hornet that took part in his shootdown.

A1dqn: The Inception (Continued)
A1dqn was still holding things down in the card room. He had successfully defended his position against at least 4 or 5 unknown special operators. He killed them dead terminated and, also, fired off some grenades.
The shit was epic.
The Inception began when the room was penetrated by 1 to 2 unknowns. A1dqn demonstrated exceptional skilled combat management practices ranging from hand to hand close quarters combat, to bullets at them, to medguns at himself, while neutralizing numerous pusillanimous operators in between. They managed to get him down to 1% from regen protocol activation, but 1% is good enough for any Savy NEAL.
So, he healed himself, and commenced to getting on their asses.

Exospec, pissed and enraged, armed and readied his rented Sentinel for combat. He was out for blood and disgusted that he failed to recruit his Hornet for this engagement.
STANTON
New Babbage Interstellar Spaceport, Microtech
After making it back to the spaceport and receiving notification that Exospec was excited to get back to Pyro IV to engage in combat with the unknowns.
He armed his fighter, and proceeded to return to the Farro facility in the defense of A1dqn and Chaosyysss, who was pinned down on the perimeter of the facility, beneath A1dqn’s Polaris, by strafing medium fighters.
Exospec was ordered, by command, to standdown and wait for VizFact so that they might form a small fighter wing to intercept the Hornet(s) that had Chaosyysss pinned down under A1dqn’s Polaris.

Exospec, pissed and enraged, armed and readied his rented Sentinel for combat. He was out for blood and disgusted that he failed to recruit his Hornet for this engagement.

Farro Data Center – Airspace
Exospec and VizFact had arrived on the scene, both in combat vessels. Upon reaching the airspace above the Farro Data Center, the Savy NEAL pilots planned to apply penetrative firepower to each enemy vessel, one by one, in an attempt to secure maximum DPS effectivity.
However, the enemy pilots were not readily visible as one was landed and the other likely hovering the general area around and within A1dqn’s Polaris in search of Chaosyysss.
Upon our arrival and engagement with the 1 airborne enemy pilot the 2nd pilot scrambled his aircraft and a dogfight ensued.
Four pilots were in the air. Two from each side.
After extensive combat with the enemy, Exospec was downed – ship destroyed, regen protocol activated. VizFact, awaken from a g-force induced blackout and quickly ejected after his plane was disabled by enemy fire during said g-force induced blackout.
VizFact’s aircraft was destroyed.
VizFact’s ejection efforts landed him on the grounds of the perimeter, unconscious and incapacitated.

Still reeling from “The Inception,” command had to quickly shake A1dqn back into shape. After gathering himself, command informed A1dqn that Chief VizFact was down, but alive, on the perimeter in desperate need of rescue and medical attention.

Following the downing of the two Savy NEAL aircraft, the two enemy pilots soon turned their attention back to A1dqn’s Polaris. They were searching for Chaosyysss.
Chaosyysss was identified and neutralized by the enemy pilots. Regen protocol activated. He was dead.

Farro Data Center (Exterior Perimeter)
A1dqn made it to the exterior of the facility. Noted that the area seemed absent of hostiles. He was in a shitty situation. His Polaris was destroyed. Also, he was now alone, Polaris destroyed, and still shaken up by The Inception situation.
Command reported to A1dqn that his Polaris was destroyed by the hostile forces and the Asgard that the first two operators arrived in was on the ground. Everyone on the comms network knew that it was his only chance to escape the environment and his only chance to rescue Chief VizFact, who was on the ground seriously injured about 8-to-10 clicks out.
A1dqn successfully commandeered the abandonned Savy NEAL aircraft, rescued VizFact, and successfully exfiltrated.

Special Note: A1dqn earns commendation for exceptional combat valor. Chaosyysss led his 2nd engagement. Exospec, VizFact, and other Pilots must practice flying in formation.
